Avonbridge care provides safe, nurturing and stable residential homes for children and young people with specialist expertise in supporting Separated Children Seeking International Protection.

Our approach is child-centred, rights-based, trauma-informed and culturally responsive. We recognise each young person as an individual with their own identity, experiences, strengths, relationships and aspirations, and work alongside them to create safety, belonging, resilience and positive outcomes.

Who We Are

Avonbridge Care is an Irish residential care provider committed to delivering high quality, child-centred care to children and young people, including Separated Children Seeking International Protection.

We understand that separated children may arrive in Ireland having experienced loss, displacement, disrupted relationships, trauma, uncertainty and significant cultural and life transitions. Our role is not defined by those experiences alone. We recognise each young persons strengths, identity, culture abilities and potential.

Our homes are designed to provide safety, stability and a genuine sense of belonging while supporting young people to build relationships, participate in decisions about their lives and develop the confidence and skills required for their future.
